What is the maximum torque?

There’s no strict maximum torque here – the bolt simply adjusts bearing preload inside your headset.

That’s why we recommend checking your headset manufacturer’s manual for exact specs.

Once you’ve got this gem assembled, make sure to tighten your stem bolts correctly.

Pro Tip: Don’t torque the countersunk bolt beyond 2.5 Nm.

I managed to damage the countersunk bolt, what can I do?

Will this fit my fork?

It fits all kind of threadless forks that use a 1-1/8" steerer.
No worries if your fork is tapered – the taper is only at the lower end and doesn’t affect the fit.
